Collection at a glance

Data Collection Statement

A concise view of what is collected, when it is collected, and the learner benefit it supports.

Effective: 2 September 2026

Who collects the information

MS Exam Prep is operated by DuffIT Pty Ltd (ABN 75 104 508 769), trading as Quill Learning, in Victoria, Australia. Privacy enquiries can be sent to privacy@msexamprep.com.

Before you sign in

We check whether an authenticated session already exists and use essential storage needed for security and sign-in. If Google Analytics is configured, we ask before loading it. When accepted, it measures public page visits and provides aggregate referral, device, and approximate-country reports. Rejecting it does not affect site access. We do not collect an optional learner profile or course activity before sign-in, and we do not use advertising cookies.

When you create or access an account

Microsoft sign-in supplies an email address and stable account identifier. Local development may use an email-only test account. We record acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy so we can demonstrate when consent was given.

While you learn

Learner-journey events begin only after authenticated acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy. These events do not include chat questions, assessment text, email addresses, or external destination URLs.

Product feedback

The in-app Feedback button sends an optional comment directly to MS Exam Prep. This is separate from formal course evaluation. Do not include sensitive personal information in free-text feedback. Product feedback is included in your data export; after account anonymisation it may be retained without your direct account identifiers to support product improvement.

Course evaluation

When a course includes an evaluation URL, the Open course evaluation button opens an external Metrics That Matter form. The course identifier may be represented by the selected form or link configuration. Information entered there is handled by the external form operator.

Control

You can accept or reject optional Google Analytics and later reset that choice from the Privacy Policy. Account settings let you update optional profile data, download a machine-readable export, and anonymise your account. Anonymisation removes profile and chat content and disconnects direct identifiers; de-identified learning metrics remain for course effectiveness reporting.

For the complete terms governing this processing, read the Privacy Policy.
